Backstory

Bride

I had just moved to a new environment in March 2022 and my neighbors invited me to their church. I particularly enjoyed the anointing session where a song leader was singing powerful songs. That song leader was Seun Dede. A month later, I attended a camp meeting, GSC where we met again. We were both in the choir and we finally had a formal introduction and exchanged contacts. He was very friendly and we started talking once in a while. We lost contact but reconnected at another program. It was later on, I discovered I actually had one of his songs on my phone and got to know more about the amazing work he was doing in ministry and I was more touched by his humility. We didn't talk all the time but whenever we did, there was so much depth and shared values. He was also very supportive and helpful while I was going through different phases and our friendship grew gradually into something more beautiful.

Groom

It all began in 2022 at my home church in Magboro; a charming young woman and her elegant mother attended service and came out as first-time visitors on that initial Sunday. We would later exchange contacts while sharing pleasantries and having a nice chat and a few calls in the months to come sometimes. Sometime after our first meetup, our pastor called her up in church to talk about her new book. I was drawn even more by her accent and her nice-looking light green dress, and after that, I just started noticing her composure when in church but kept observing and just talking to God about it whilst living my life daily, doing other things and growing in purpose and expanding my capacity daily whilst checking up on her from time to time and just maintaining the friendship connection every once in a while. In 2024, we became even closer by checking in more through our DMs, saying hello, and having a good chat whenever the opportunity arose in church. My eyes opened that year, and the rest, they say, is history, my brethren.
